Plantation, in St. George was founded sometime in the 1600s by the Pile
family. In the 1800s it was owned by Sir George Clarke Pile and it
remains today in the Pile family. The Brighton Plantation is a working plantation growing vegetables and selling them across the island. Saturday
morning for you, could be the start of a tradition - visit the market
that sells produce and other items, in fact it has become a social
